HELP: What happened to my baby?

I have had a few TR's, and have made it through a few problems.... but my baby, the CAR, has a problem I cannot figure out....


I took her out of storage two weeks ago. The battery was dead...and when I finally got her running she ran like crap. Figured it was just from sitting. 28 miles later..she still is running crappy...beyond the point of driving.

At idle (or lack there of) she sounds like a good-smooth v6...then it breaks into fits of sounding like an "over-cammed" v8 for a minute or so and back to smooth.

I thought it was a voltage problem..but the alternator is putting out volts, and i just put in a new battery. No changes since last year ( running fine).

the Maf checked out ok...

If you have any ideas please pass em on

I had a full tank of 94 in the car with some stable since november...doubt the gas is it

Could the timing chain have tihs the bed?

I love em when they run right....but.............

Try resetting your ecm. Take your chip out and re-install it. Maybe your coilpak or module died while resting.......

figured it out

Finally.......I ifgured it out. Alot of painstaking effort and $25 and shes up and running..

It was an intermittent IAC motor....damn thing
