help with a 3.8 n/a

hey i got a 84 lesabre with a 3.8 it has a 4bbl carb edelbrock and i want to put boost to it but i dont want it carb i want to go with efi i saw this it says that it alows you to put a 90mm trottle body to a 4bbl intake so if that is posible all i would have to do is drill to put some injectors right ??

and then i will have to change my headers for this set up
but i am not sure what to do about a ecu and harness but would this set up be posible farely cheap or is ther emore that i dont see here ?

First off-they re stage2 headers and wont fit the heads exhaust ports,i think you would also have to change the pistons for a turbo,the cam should also be changed-plus the wiring harness and ecm.

what do you mean by a stage 2 header ? is there two diffrent type of heads for a 3.8 ?
and yes i know that the piston and cam will have to be changed if i can do this turbo efi swap done i will completly rebuilld the motor
the reason i want to do that is a turbo 3.8 is real rare around here so i was going to clone one !!

you would need a set of good stock turbo headers about $200-$250 with a crossover.stage 2 is high performance buick motor sports racing motors where the exhaust tubes are about evenly spaced unlike a stock turbo type header.they will not interchange.only fit stage2 heads which you dont have.

would a aftermarket ecu like a megasquirt or somthing work ?

You'll need an aftermarket ECU. Something like FAST XFI or Megasquirt, and associated harnesses and Wideband O2 setup!
Figure on dropping close to $2,000 for all that.

Those are real nice Stage II headers you got, but like was stated, they are for Stage II heads and WONT work on a 3.8 non stage motor.
