Help!!

I know this is supposed to be strictly for the s/c's but i need a little help and maybe someone could answer my question?

I have a 98 Regal LS, but I assume the part is the same as the GS so I figured maybe someone could help me out. The front sway bar has broken on the passenger side and i was wondering if anyone has replaced one before. Can i drive with it broken? Is it possible/manageable to fix on my own (my mechanic wants way to much) with not to much strain and tools? And if i remove it can i drive without putting a new one in? Any info would be much appreciated thanks!

Common issue. These swaybars are hollow. If you remove it just be careful on how you drive. I noticed you are in NY. If you are in or close to the Queens area I have one off my GS since I upgraded. It has about 40K on it. Again if you are local and can meet up I will sell it to you. I do not want to deal with shipping this. PM me if interested.
