Mike Freeman.... screenname hemi8 is a stand up guy. I bought some used billet main caps from him. I was very skeptical if they would work on my engine since they had been machined to match another block....... he told me if I deemed them unusable.... he would give me my money back.
After my machinist checked them out... there wasn't enough room on the side of the cap to machine it to fit snug in my cap registers in my block.... so in my engine.... these caps wouldn't work without getting them welded up and re-machined..... I told him this.... he said.... no problem.... send them back.... he actually sent his check out a day or two before UPS delivered his caps back.....
