Hi everyone,
My dad's '86 Regal T-type has a big of a hesitation issue whenever you try to get on the gas from a dead stop. You hit it, and it's like it stalls out for a second, comes back on and THEN goes. If you put in it Park and rev it, it responds just fine. Seems to only want to do that while in gear.
From what I remember, the only modifications to the car are a bigger turbo, exhaust, different cam, and injectors. I just don't know where to start looking for this problem. The mods were done over 2 years ago this problem just popped up. However, we have had to replace the fuel pump twice in one month. I hope that information helps a bit. Any starting point is better than nothing.
Thanks!
