i can't remember if this car has always done this or if it's new this year or last or getting worse. i don't drive it enough and i'm starting to have a tough time keeping up with the nuances of each car.

what does your pressure read on startup? mine is like 70... then 80 when under load until the engine gets up to temp, then it will be normal (40).

i'm pretty sure this car has always been a little high on startup. but i think last year is when i noticed it being high longer than what i expected. i'm getting set to do an oil / filter change soon and will see if there's any difference after that. currently the car has mobile1 5w30 and a napa gold filter in / on it.

just figured i'd ask. i know pressure can be high until things get up to temp. i also know high oil pressure can be bad like low oil pressure. i'm concerned about the possibility of a blocked oil galley or something like that. this is my only turbo car, anything special about them other than i know good oil is important for them?
