Ultra chip

I like the Ultra chip because it allows you to change your setting on the fly. 0= anti-theft no start, 1=rev limit 4800 top speed 65, 2= Stock chip, 3= 18 deg timing 91 octane, 4= 20 deg 93 octane, 5= 22 deg 98 octane, 6= 24 deg 100 octane, 7= 26 deg 110 octane. Settings 3-6, 6000 RPM rev limit. Setting 7 - 6200 rev limit. Your boost goes from 12 psi stock to 19 psi at the highest setting. So you get about 1-2 lbs each time you adjust up a click. You will need to know what size injectors the chip was designed for. Contact Caspers with the info numbers from the chip and he can tell you. Hope this helps. Mr. Buick

Caspers makes those chips and I think they work great. At least mine does.:D One big reason I got mine was because of the anti-theft setting. Of course I keep forgetting that it's there and try to start the car. I'll probably be buying a new starter soon.:(

I just started using the ultrachip, and so far so good. You can really notice a difference in performance. I notice it hits RPM's quicker, and wraps out further than the 5200 stock redline. Boost climbs in the performance modes between shiftf, so it gives a good consistent pull. I still wanna try it out for a few more days though, I only made 4 runs with it :)
