Does anyone have info on a cold air conversion kit for an 84 T-type? I hear there is one from Spearco.

Not sure if this would work but...

..a freind of mine has a TA49, a stock IC with a Duttweiler neck installed, all of the pieces that go with it (shroud, IC fan, etc.), a set of 43 lb injectors, the chip to go with it, and he's asking 750 for all of it. The turbo has about 2000 miles on it. He upgraded to a PTE61, a Precision FMIC, 50lb inj., and a new chip. I really don't know what all else you would need. Maybe someone else who knows will chime in.

I'm going to be using the turbomotion V2, I'm told it's better than the spearco kit, allthough I've never used either. In a week or so I'll be able to let you know how it works. :D :D :D

Or you could swap over to 86-87 status ie more and better parts availability IMO. I do like a fast hot airs cause they are rare indeed. Ive decided to keep my t type a hot air when I swap the sbc.:)
