Does anyone have a Hot Air intercooler set-up for sale or knows anyone who has one for sale? Also is there anyone who has or knows where I can get a modified Hot-Air Intake?

Bryan

I've got one that hasn't been touched, except for bead blasting to clean it up. You could do your own port work.

I am really thinking of going 86/87. But, for now I am just going to tune some more and get to the track with my current setup. I hate to come this far with it all and not see what the car will do. I think by winter though I will be ripping it apart and going 86/87 setup.

Hey Bryan,

I did notice that Bweavy hinted at having a spearco intercooler setup sitting at his place, maybe get a hold of him, you can get his contact info in this post: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190588&page=2&pp=35
If you just want to get a nice quick ride....with the least amount of money and work.........the spearco intercooler kit is a great mod!! I had just that and some fuel system upgrades when I got my car and it would roast my buddies Rustang GT all day long at 16# of boost. This would be a much cheaper and easier mod then going with a V2 intake setup or 86/87.

Bigdaddy - - you got a V2 intake??

I have the Spearco pipes for there intercooler on a hot air engine if interested, I may still have the Spearco intercooler also. Id take $75+shipping for the piping. If interested e mail me at Fortune628@aol.com

You can get a brand new spearco "type" intercooler for the hot airs on ebay for like $200 or so. That and the piping then a intake adapter and some homemade brackets and you could have a kit pretty cheap. -Nick.

Hot air intercooler

I have a Spearco intercooler, complete kit, which are no longer made by the manufacturer. ($800) was $1200 new. I also have a J&S hot air manifold that has been ceramic coated. ($600). This was a conversion like the V2 manifold. I can send pictures if you are interested. email me at rflint@mn.rr.com
