Some one must have run in to this before but what does it take to use the 84 TPS with the 87 ECM? I can't be the first that has run into this? I know wiring is different on two of the terminals but what is the work around. Th

I did nothing other than mod's - Caspers 84/85 CCCI Hotwire Special to use the 87 CCCI MODULE and COIL and it works fine but ....... I believe you also are using a 86/87 wiring harness. Am I correct in my assumption?

84/84 is reverse acting than 86/87, I assume your past that part?

Yes I realized that after the fact but now I'm trying to figure out a way around it. Do you know of any? Thanks you

Could it be as simple as re pinning the 84/85 TPS ?????

84/85 86/87
A - BLK - gnd A - GRY - 5v reference
B - DK BLU - signal output B - DK BLU - signal output
C - GRY - 5v C - BLK - gnd

Re pin A to C / C to A

Have you tried to find a 1984/85 TPS ?

That is what is on the TB, it's a 84 engine. I am going to recheck the wiring and see about repinning it. Will keep you posted.
