How much would an old rebuilt but barely run 84 Hot Air motor be worth?

Just the long block or complete?
If complete Id have to say you'd be lucky to get $800 for it.
It just seems there is hardly any market for these diamond in the rough!

The motor would be complete, heck how much could I get for the engine and transmission? Found an 84 T-type thats in alright shape with complete running drivetrain but was rebuilt and put in storage for years. It would be the perfect foundation for my project motor so I wouldn't need a bit of the orginal motor or probably tranny. Everything computer, harness, total running front driveline. Do you think I could get $1300 for it?

Well if your letting the engine and trans go together w/ complete harness and CPU, Id say that $1300 would be a fair price
