Hot Wheels Grand National

Hot wheels makes a grand national with an opening hood, looks like twin turbos under the hood, mounted it on my dashbard for good luck.

I just picked one up for my 3 yr old nephew Mike at the local CVS. He LOVES his "racecars" as he calls them, and i saw they had a few in the toy aisle so i figured i'd pick one up for him since i was to be babysitting for him that day. The second one in their stack was a GN (guess its supposed to be the '82 since its actually gray). Now its his favorite, because he can drive "uncle corey's black racecar" too. He went outside that day and spent 5 minutes comparing the model to my car "they both have stickers (GN emblem on the front quarters) and little windows (rear side glass) and bumpy hoods...." and on and on.

I'm pretty proud of the little guy... my brothers not much of a car guy, but i've been teaching Mike what he needs to know. He can currently identify correctly the following items: Turbocharger, fuel injector, alternator, brake caliper, radiator, intake, carburetor and water pump

I THINK YOUR RIGHT IT IS A 82 GN TWO-TONE GREY AND BLACK, I KEEP IT HANGING OFF MY REAR VIEW MIRROR:biggrin:
