Well....some guys here are in the 12's and some are even headed for lower. Im a lil depressed 'cause I have spent a fortune and it still feels about as fast as a box of rocks.

My sig shows what I have done (performance wise) to the car. I have been contemplating selling - but I think I want to stick it out and sink more cash into the car and tune tune tune. It feels like I couldnt beat my '99 Silverado 4.8L if I tried....

Here's some of the things I am considering:

160 DEG T-STAT (Still dont have one yet) 8.95 (KIRBANS)

I feel my trans is the weak link because I have not touched it since I got the car - and it was a basket case when I got it before restoration. Its probably been abused - it shifts poorly and quite a bit of clutch material was in the pan when I got it.

Anyone have any input on what choices I should make ?
 
You got the makings of a 12 sec car! If you got tons of tranny clutch material in that pan, get that trans out!!! I found out the hard way of how bad my trans was when there was no reverse!!! the car has been parked for four years due to college, but if I took that trans out 4 years ago, I could have been driving it right now! Good luck, and that is a 12 sec car!!

Thanks for the input - see it seems like I have the parts needed to make this car rock - but it seems sluggish.

Cant figure it.
 
Motor could have tons of potential power but if you cant get it back to the rear wheels all that "power" means nothing.
