How do I get more BOOST!

Well, the easiest way is to shorten the wastegate rod, which is done by using a kit sold by many vendors, or you can make one out of a threaded sleeve, then thread the rod. You can buy an adjustable wastegate also, already done. If your car is stock chip-wise, a chip will add boost also. Just make sure you have a boost gauge first, or you'll be asking for it. Good luck.

Each turn adds about a pound of boost (make rod shorter). Hopefully you have a good aftermarket boost gauge. Once you have an adj actuator, slowly increase the boost by adding one full turn at a time.

Make sure you have proper gas, tuning etc before turning up the boost.... or you will have problems!

I see in your signature that you have a scan tool. That is step one. Increased boost and no scan tool = kaboom. So you are already one step ahead of a lot of folks. Get yourself an adjustable wastegate actuator. Next you need good fuel. Race fuel is best but if you live in an area like I do where race fuel is tough to come by, then you might use xylene like I do. Do a search on "xylene" and you will get plenty of good information. Good fuel and more boost and your car will feel like a totally different machine. Just tune carefully and watch for knock.

Stock wastegate rod length is approximately 5.25" from the face of the actuator to the center of the rod hole (disconnected from arm) This is approximately 14 psi on e relatively stock T-R.

Every full turn shorter is approximately .050" and 1 psi of boost increase, so roughly 5.20"=15psi, 5.15"=16 psi, 5.10"=17 psi, etc.

This is for ballpark only. You need an aftermarket boost gage or a scan tool like turbolink with boost sensing to know you actual boost.
