just checking at how nice this transmission is a 400r trans from aamco. and what type of hp can it hold up to

Are you asking about a TH-400 or a 2004R? I would presume Aamco would be building an entirely stock transmission. Do they advertise a performance oriented transmission with enhancements. Have you asked an Aamco rep this question?
