ya, I"m going thru that atm too. Thou I'm removing the heads too, so hoping with head off the extra room will allow me to pull the cat up thru the compartment. Otherwise there just isnt enough room under car without having a floor lift to get car in air.

im thinking remove the blower fan or headers either or just fishing for ideas

lift & dig

Work on lawn or gravel drive. Jack up front as far as you are comfortable. Dig/scoop ground underneath as much as necessary to be able to turn the pipe & lower it. Doesn't require too much digging if you get the front up high.

so I could bring it on the lift and make it happen
I wasnt sure looked like it was rubbing when I had it up in the air before it hit the concrete
