How to take out Radio?

How does the front panel come off the area of the radio.. so that the radio can be taken out?

I dont feel like breaking my fake wood grain panel from not knowing how to take it out safely. (83' Regal)

The trims outer edge is held on by clips, I usually grab the trim by the lighter and gently pull out then just follow it along the edge. You may lose a clip or two but if they fall into the radio cavity they can be easily retrieved after you remove the radio. After you remove the trim the radio is held in place by 4 screws (2 on either side of the radio)
