Not sure on that. As an auto parts salesman I can tell you this. You can usually pick up a remanufactured unit for $100-$150 with a lifetime warranty. Buying one used is just asking for trouble especially if it has been sitting around somewhere for an extended period of time. This booster is not specific to the '84 Turbo Regals. They can also be found on 80's diesel G-body's. If you do get a remanufactured unit, ask the salesman who manufactures them. Some may be too ignorant to know or find out. You want to look for a Cardone unit. I know both NAPA and Carquest sell them. They just put a NAPA sticker over the Cardone sticker.

My cousin had a '98 GMC diesel pickup in his shop he was working on, and it had the same hydraboost brakes on it! So they should be easy to come by! I've also heard you can buy a re-seal kit for these?

power master

Advance auto parts sells the complete power master for these cars for around $230.00 + $50-60 core charge. I think there are Advances in TN isnt there? I ordered one in to take a look at it (work there) and it was rebuilt pretty decent. This may be the best way to go because they have a lifetime warranty on them as well. The unit comes with everything.... acumulator, sensor, elec. motor etc. Check it out...

;)
