After 8 hours of work, new rubber seal, new paint, new ceiling and adjusting my fac moonroof leaks in the corner. I adj the roof where the rubber is even all around. Is there a way to adjust it where it will apply more pressure to the rub when in the closed position??? I saw it drip inside near the track which then went on my new ceiling. any help will be highly appreciated! Before i lsoe my mind!

I need to know the same......

Also please share on how you adjust what you did.

If you scroll down a few posts you'll notice I've been working on an ASC roof. I ran into the same type of issue when I pulled the assembly out of the car. I put it back in the same way it came out and it wouldn't slide, then it wouldn't seat right and would not seal in the rear. I removed the assembly, checked everything to make sure there was no binding, and put it back in and it worked! Not sure what I did, but you may simply need to remove and check your tracks, etc. and see if it helps...Good Luck, these roofs are a real PITA:mad:

Leak

I Had Mine Done, Dont Know If This Will Help, But The Astroroof Has A Drainage System Built In. If The Drain System Gets Stopped Up The Pan Will Over Flow & You Have Water On Your New Top. I Dont Know The Exact Number Of Drainers, But I Think The Guy That Did Mine Said There Was Four. You May Be Able To Blow Them Out From The Bottom With Air, If U Can Locate. If There Is A Uphostery Shop Near You, Give Them A Call.

Leak

If You Look At Paging Turbofish Post Dated July 5th Just Prior To Your Post, He Has Some Good Pictures That Show The Drain Tubes & If U Look At All The Pictures, U Will Also See The Tube That They Hook To. The Drains Are At The 4 Corners. Hope This Is Of Some Help.

thansk for the reply guys! well I was playing around with it today. i know about the drains, they are perfectly fine. the front part of my new seal has some wrinkles in it, the water gets in due to the wrinkles. I put some vasoline on it and let it bake in the sun. I also shimmed each bracket with a small thin washer to make it go up more . the shims fixed one of the leaks, I am hoping the wrinkles will swell up a little. I will let you guys know!
