I have an orginal 85 T-type
I blew my engine should I rebuild the original? Upgrade to an 87 set up or go Stage 2

I think it will depend a little bit on your budget and how much of the work that you can do yourself......

plus 1IF you go with an 86/87 set up or a Stage 2 sell your car an get one done !!
in this ship economy you could save a lot of money but you will loose out on the fun of doing it your self.

Depends on your wallet, what et/hp goals you have, and how you want to use the car.
How fast was it when you broke it? If it were me (and it was a long time ago) I would stick to hot air and get it to low 11, high tens. If still not enough, then consider upgrading. Much, much cheaper this way, plus I like a challenge.
