So I booked a 5 night hotel stay on the wrong week through Hotwire. As you know, once you book it, it's a done deal, or so they say.

Is there any way they can prevent me from disputing the charges with my credit card company because it's the wrong weekend, or will the CC company just say "too bad so sad" and I'm stuck with the bill?

Surely I can't be the only one this has happened to....:o

i did the same thing this past week, AHHHHHHH! If its a hotel you should not have a problem, i had to change my flight though, so it cost me $75 per ticket, after calling them. Call them and see what you can do.

So you changed your flight via Hotwire? I'm surprised they accomodated you. Their website is pretty damn strict in their verbage about cancelling, changing, etc. Good for you.

I will give them a call and see what they can do.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

Sorry I actually used Expedia for the flight and hotel. But hotel is almost never a problem to change the dates. They are usually strict on the flights though. Good luck.

UPDATE: I called Hotwire and not only did they correct the reservation for me, but they actually made the new reservation and it cost $5 LESS than the old one! I couldn't have asked for a better outcome than that, especially after reading all their disclaimers on the website.

Hotwire will definitely be on my recommended list of vendors!

I've had 1 good and 1 bad experience with them.......the second was a "four star" rated hotel that was actually more like a 2
