I've seen a lot of different ways that people make these cars fly (not like they dont fly as it is) But im still trying to find the quickest and cheapest way to put this thing into the 12's.

i've heard everything from heads to turbos to dump and any combination. All advice will help. Thanks a lot.
:)

1st step is to make it right at the speed it is now. There are some things that need done just so you can run in the 13's safely. Once all those things are addressed then you're a chip and a tank of gas away.
Basic stuff:
1) 160 stat
2) New fuel pump
3) Hot wire fuel pump
4) Sticky tires.
5) Scan Tool of choice.
6) Chip
7) Modified wastegate
8) New timing gear and chain
9) Valve Springs.

Scantool
Fuel system upgrade ie hotwired pump and new filter
Right side airbag
Race gas
Race chip
Slicks
21 lbs of boost and launch it like a mad man. Your in the 12's

Down pipe, 3"
exhaust
Fuel Pump

Scan tool.

55PPH injectors.
Translator Plus.
Chip

What ever you do, you need to know where you are tune wise, and when you change soemthing, what it does. Hence the Scanner, and T+ are the most important two items. Once you can start tuning, then you can start going fast. Bolting on 12 sec parts, don't always work. What might run a 12 in one car is 13 in another.

Also, the 55s lets you not have to change injectors 2-3 times as you want to go faster.

NOS!!!!

NOS took a stock GN with tires and 150 shot in the 11s cost under$1000including new tires and new NOS kit and I would use 118 octane gas. This is the quickest ,easiest, and cheapest way to run quick. Sorry if this offends anyone but, NOS works!!! a fuel system upgrade would be wise JMO

Nitrous works ... when the bottle is full and the pills are right for the air, and the boost is turned down... and... well, you get the point.

Take the same $1000, buy tires and do the Recipe and you're in the low/mid 12s without breakage.

Comes from experience ... I've done the nitrous thing ... gave it up after a year due to the above.

Ya, right.

In less then one crank shaft revolution you want the bearings to absorb a 30+% increase in loads, and corresponding accleration rate.

Sorry, the facts don't support your statement.

Let alone being able to ACCURATELY get the fuel to the engine before the Nitrous. Look at the damage Nitrous does, it's from heat, plan and simple. You need t add the extra fuel, IN PART to supply combustion chamber cooling. Too much heat too fast and you erode or break pistons. bearings rings etc..

BLASPHEME

I knew I would hit a nerve when I said nitrous and buick in the same sentence. Sorry! Has anyone had good luck running nitrous on a turbo buick without having big problems ? I would like to hear other opinions. I know the nos car went from 13.80 to 11.80 with a 150 shot thats very strong!!!

who's car? Yours?

How many times?

Sorry, but this sounds bogus to me..............and it is a very bad idea.....unless you like buying motors
