Got a SM for a buddy of mine and installed it today , IAC reading 58 . Car will die sometimes sitting at idle . Cant find a vacuum leak , could be just a bad IAC itself ? thanks Keith
Also reading was at a warm idle

We did and nothing , its was reading around 58 and ruff idle , going dead . We are running down to see if maybe vacuum leaks .

Usually you have a high BLM if you have a vacuum leak. Try resetting the IAC and then adjusting it, i believe you will also have to adjust the TPS

Take a good high quality close up of the minimum air bleed screw setting like this and it may tell us a bit on the setup.

Remove the up pipe and spray the throttle body with TB cleaner. Also remove the IAC and clean off the carbon on it and also where it screws into the TB. You should then be able to set it in the 25-30 range.
