IAC (Idle Air Control) reading 50

Hi,
I was wondering what can cause the IAC to read 50? from the scanmaster. I have no idea what is causing this. Can anyone help me?

maybe the iac valve got stuck. Or maybe you need to set the iac and throttle blade position/TPS sensor. There is instructions on this somewhere on this site. I adust the throttle blade so the iac reads 10-20 at idle when warm. Then I adust the TPS to read .42 at idle and 4.5 at WOT.

well the tps reads .42 at idle its just the IAC that has a high reading. Can this create problems in the future?

the tps reads .42 now but after you open or close the throttle blade to get a more desirable iac number the tps will change. after you get the iac where you want it you must go back to the tps and adjust it to .42
