Can anyone tell me why i cann't get my iac numbers where they need to be. My car ildes around 600 rpm in drive and my iac numbers are very high. My set screw is turned out far as it will go.

your going the wrong way . :)
 
The set screw has bottomed out on the spring so i cann't open the throttle blade anymore. Sorry i guess i misword my first post.
Would a leaking EGR cause this to happpen too?
 
My car does not idle well at all and it does have a tip in stumble that drives me crazy.
 
if it's an aftermarket iac, the pintle has to be adjusted to a preset length prior to installation.... is it an aftermarket iac???
 
I think you have a point, I bought the BOP IAC angle boss so maybe thats my problem. I will check into that tomorrow.
