went to start the car, then i drove off from my house. All of a sudden it sounded like it was missing and I think it was. Felt like it was running on 5 cylinders.:( So i slowly idle my way back to my house and all of a sudden it stalls and I'm in the middle of the street:eek: . Fortunately i got it to start again and backed it into the garage. Then i powerbraked it and had a hard time building boost. Only had 2 lbs. at 3/4 throttle:mad: :( which sucks. What do you think is causing this? I'm thinking coil pack or wires? Has anyone ever ran into something like this?

Definately could be a coil. It is easy to test. Check across the terminals with a ohm meter (front to back on the same coil) and see what kind of readings you get. Nominal readings are available on the gnttype.org website. Going out on a limb here but I think range is between 11 and 13k ohms.

checked the coils. all at 12.5 k ohms. Started the car today and it ran fine this time. Powerbraked it too and no missing. Sometimes my car has problems like these that come and then never come back. weird:confused:

Could either be the coil pack or module. When it gets hot??

12.5K is a little high. Higher than I'd like to see. Could be breaking down when hot and under load.
