of the hot air world.

Sold the 84 GN and have an 87 GN in it's place. In a perfect world I would have both. I will have to say that the interior of the 84 blows the 87 away. Sort of regret the sale since it is hard to find a clean 84 GN these days. I appreciate all of the info I gathered from the H/A owners on this site. Thank You. We will see how it goes with the 87. Maybe I will be back with another 84 GN or an 85 WH1 (car I had as a kid) in the future.

Sorry to hear that...I like the Lier Siegler interiors...that's why I have a HA.
I guess my ultimate car would be a 87 with the Lier Siegler interior--that would be cool....

I also started with the 84. I did like the lear interior. The people on this hot air site were a tremendous help. I learned a whole lot about these cars and did about every upgrade you could on the 84. I worked it hard; those stock head gaskets never did blow and I heard some serious knock.

combination

I have to say, since I owned both an 84 and a 87, the ultimate combo would be a 84 with a 87 drivetrain. I loved the Hydroboost brakes so much, I put them in my 87 GN. I love the pedal pressure. I upgraded the rotors and calipers too.
