I just bought a new B+M super cooler for my new rebuilt tranny and I am gonna mount it right up front in front of the radiator...my question is: Do I have to install it right side up (this cooler has the feed line going to the top left sticking straight up and the return line at the top right sticking straight up as well)

do i have to install it like this? or can i install it sideways with both fittings facing towards the left (if you are looking directly facing the car's front) with the feed line on the bottom and then the return line on top...

does it really matter? the reason i ask is because it will be much easier if i can install it sideways...

Yes, you can install it in any position that you like. The fluid pressure is sufficient to pump through the cooler body, no matter the angle.

cool! thanks!:D

hey i removed that carpet-type piece that goes underneath the air dam because it's a pain in the rear to reinstall and stuff...plus everything is easy access under there now...can i just leave that off with no problems? it doesn't look like it would make a big deal leaving it off...everything is high enough from road debris anyways...

NO! You definitely need to put that piece back in place. It is used as an air baffle. It serves a major purpose:

Pressurize and direct air through the radiator core.
