Never put the 406 in my '89 S10 Blazer..... always had a 350 in it.... I really wanted to put the 406 in it... just never did. I got it down to a naturally aspirated daily driver capable..... 8.33 in the 1/8 and a 13.13 in the quarter. I sold it about 6 months ago and bought a theft recovery '87 GN from it's original owner.... been sitting since 11/01 w/o any interior. Drivetrain (139k) was still in it and functional. I am about through piecing the correct GN interior back in it.... about to go get it painted. Then the bolt on's will start.... maybe even before I get it painted......trying to go to a local 1/8 mile track maybe tomorrow night to get a baseline run before the bolt-ons get put on.
