intercooler cleaning

during turbo change i found oil residue in my intercooler. what is the best way to clean it out?

Pull intercoller out of your car. Spray in a can of some cheap carb cleaner, I like auto zone's. Shake and twist the unit and dump it out the opposite neck. Do this until the carb cleaner comes out clean. Attach a leaf blower to one neck with duck tape to seal the gap and let it run till she dries out. Several cans of carb cleaner may be needed and do not short change the drying time.
