Intercooler upgrade

I have a brand new intercooler from a f350. I have heard of using this intercooler on a GN. Has anyone had any luck installing this?

Try running a search on this. There are a lot of guys that have done powerstroke intercoolers on their buicks. I think you have to do a little chopping of the headlight buckets but other than that not much has to be cut on. I am not gonna cut on my GN at all, I am gonna go with the Precision FMIC :biggrin:

Yup- installed many. The cooling ability of the PSIC is phenomenal- but you do have to cut a couple of holes in the radiator support.

Well worth it, IMO!

You have to cut a little off the frame & bumper shocks too. The cooling of the Powerstroke IC is excellent. I'm running one with the stock turbo. After a run you can burn your hand on the inlet hose. The outlet hose is cold. I would say it's doing its job.
