Well I got a kennie bell front mount its not the big mouth intercooler but I have it all in and I'm looking for ideas how how to get my grille back in. I really don't want to take the header panel off any ideas guy?

Many front mounts install from up underneath, no need to remove it all. Got any pics, not familiar with that IC though.

I had to take the grille out from under the car so I could get to the bolts on the top side of the intercooler the pipes go under the car I have a couple pics but they are not the best

Yeah thats not level. You need to adjust your brackets so it sits flat. If you want I can get a picture of mine tomorrow for comparison...I dont have a front end on my car tho so you kinda gotta use ur imagination

Ive been semi fitting mine up and it looks like some of the grill may have to be trimmed, as in some of the pieces that hang back pretty far.

That is the Kenne Bell big boy intercooler 2nd version,i have the same one and bought it in 97. You should be able to install the grille from underneath the car and bolt it in without any trouble. The holes for mounting the intercooler were already in the radiator core support and it should mount straight and level if you have the top brackets in the correct positions. No trimming of the grille was needed when i installed mine.

Taking the header panel off is not too hard... I say don't be afraid and give yourself more room.

My worry on that is the car was painted not long ago and I don't have a big shop to work in so if I were to take the header off I will prob end up with scratches

Okay here are the pictures of it mounted up. From the factory it has four mounts on the intercooler and one on the pipeing. Well after I got the pipes connected it was pretty sturdy so I attached the bottom to brackets and it was very sturdy. I put a bolt through the bracket on the pipe and it made the entire set up too tight and misaligned the pipes too. Im still debating if I want to add brackets on the top but most likely will. Let me know if you have any other questions or need any more pictures...And ignore the dust, im in the body work stage
