interior wrapping? clueless

my friend told me about this "interior wrap". for about a grand, i leave my car to some people i dont know and they wrap my whole interior in brand new vinyl. has anyone ever heard of this? think its a stupid idea? leave some feedback for the poor guy huh

For a grand you can get real leather interior to wrap your seats in. I got mine from Jax's interiors in Jacksonvillle Fl. Smells great and looks great.
