Just want to make sure I have enough zddp mixed with my oil. When I had the stock oil pan I use to put one bottle of zddp and since I put on the RJC deep oil pan I've still been putting one bottle. In the deep pan I put about 7 liters of oil and just want to make sure if one bottle of zddp is enough.

Thanks,
Marco

I wouldn't add any more Marco.
Guess it will depend on the particular brand of oil you are using as some contain higher levels of ZDDP to begin with.
I run Brad Penn semi-synthetic oil & have been advised to run only 1/2 bottle per oil change. I have been running the same amount in my oil even after installation of my RJC Deep Oil Pan. You don't want too add too much or bad things will happen. As the saying goes , you don't want "too much of a good thing".

There is no way to know if you're helping or hurting your oil when you add this stuff. You certainly don't want to add to oil that already has plenty of ZDDP. Buy oil that has plenty in it already, such as Brad-Penn or Joe Gibbs Driven.

I wonder if there is such thing as too much zddp?
