Is 86 olds ECM ok for conversion????

I was In the Boneyard sat. & spotted a 86 olds toroado w/ 3.8 MFI. Will the ECM out of it work on my 84 TR.Also I think ILL need the MAF & the engine module.If these are ok to use where is the module located in the olds & what does it look like. Is an 87 olds ECM /pkg a better unit????

86 ecm

most likely 86 3.8 olds will have the 7148 ecm which is the right one.i think its in front of glove compartment.
