Is it time for a 3" downpipe?

PTA-51, Razor's Alky, Precision front mount, Blue Tops, TT chip for Alky, Hooker cat-back, test pipe........usual other rupgrades........ 110 mph in the quarter w/ stock elbow and downpipe........would a 3" help much???

IMHO it helps on a stock car. I put one on mine almost before I did anything else.... and it seemed to break the tires loose about a link and a half out of the hole.... where it didn't do that before I put it on there..... but that is just me.....

Abosolutey, a stock downpipe compared to a 3-in, the stocker is a joke, if nothing else it looks better, a big downpipe for these is like headers instead of stock manifolds on a V-8, its everything good and nothing bad IMO.

Only GOOD will come from a 3" dp. My dad put a 3" dp and exhaust and picked up .8 and around 10mph on his all stock (except for fuel system upgrades) GN . He now has instantainess spool up. :biggrin:

Why was it you waited this long again? It'll wake up everything you've done so far, and make room for everything you'll do in the future. PS: be certain to match the wastegate port in the turbo to the puck on the downpipe.

Wish I could get one.........THDP are on backorder everywhere. Does Mease still make them?

I did the THDP and Hooker Exhasut on my stockish driver and it made a great difference. Have not dynoed yet so no number to report.
