silica is what what wipes the bearings , basically its powered glass, its in there to scrub the surfaces to prevent buildup of rust and scale which improves cooling .
the imports like bmw or cars with all aluminum internals dont really need the scrubbing (no iron to rust) and they use use a blue non silica antifreeze
 
Ok so you have to flush the coolant more often without this?

I`m going to re torque my head bolts today since i`m using RJC bulletproof headgaskets, but i have a quick question first...What torque should be used on aluminium heads? I did them before but i want to verify the torque on a cold engine
