it keeps on wanting to stall

a freind of mine has a 84 it drives nice but every time slows down to stop at a light it stalls what gives?

What are his mods? Stuck TCC valve?

its completely stock except for the 87 ecu and electric fan

Cool 84 has a good thought. If it acts like your driving a standard transmission and forget to push in the clutch at a light the TCC solenoid in the tranny might be going bad. the other thing to check is the IAC servo, could be stuck or going bad......
