Thanks for all the nice words, guys. Its still a little surreal to me. Louie, I bought 4 of em at the grocery store, and I'm already out, so I'm gonna see if I can order a bunch of them direct.

John, we need to switch boost gauges.

Thanks to everyone for their compliments. I still look at the magazine and cannot believe that it's my car in there. I have'nt even started reading the rest of the magazine.

Hey Tim, I'll give you this one when my 45 psi guage comes in

I just picked up a "complimentary copy" from the nice gentleman that was selling GMHTP subscriptions today at my local track.

Awesome job to both of you!

p.s. The photo shoot doesn't even come close to how sweet that Rosewood color looks in person.

Hey John,
I can not find a copy anywhere! Do you know where I can find one?

I think Barnes and Noble usually carries GMHTP. Also might want to check some of the auto parts stores that carry car magazines.

Stacy,

I bought it from Giant Eagle in McIntyre Square. Boarders Books in Northway Mall also carries it. The Giant Eagle up in Gibsonia should carry it. If not check AutoZone. It is the July issue, it has 2 red Corvettes, a red GTO and a red SSR on the cover of it. The same guy owns all four of those vehicles

I just got the last copy at G.E. in McIntyre. The one in Gibsonia does not carry it. Car looks great. Congrats!

Congrats you guys. Not enough Turbo Buick stuff in the mags anymore, especially since all the ricers have been taking up the space in Turbo magazine. I'll have to run out and get a copy of this for customers to read at the shop. I still have my copy of Stan Davis' 7 page article on his 200 MPH Buick.

Never under-estimate what looks like grandma's old buick

What do you have to do to get your car in a publication like GN "GM" High Tech & Performance??? I would like to get mine in there before it gets stolen or some one runs a red light!!!! I think it is worthy!!!

I got into GM High Tech Performance by responding to a post that the editor had place here on TurboBuick.com. He was looking for EFI GM's that were fast for a small amount of money. As the editor requested I sent pictures, timeslips and a list of mods with an amount of money spent. A couple months later I was contacted to do a photo shoot.

Your car is a beautiful car worthy of any magazine. I say take some pics and send them in to a couple magazines.

Nice Ride and good luck

John

Please keep it locked up RUQWKNF27... You know around Birmingham... Regals are DRYING up... I am so tired of seeing 22 and 24 in wheels on Regals... I have had my T-Type 10 years. My little cousin bought a 86 GN after riding in mine.... Here is the tear jerker... He put 22's on it :frown: .. I got a call from him.. he blew the motor... Why? 22 had the car jacked up in air.. the computer probably did not know what the HELL to do. 22's probably knock 3.42 down to 2.29 gears. I can hear the turbo crying HELP... He took the car to Big BOys and toys... They gave it the PIMP MY RIDE treatment... I am ashamed... a good car GHETTOED out

thats all turbo magazine is anymore. i remember back in the day when it was mostly Ts, GN and TTAs, i think that may have had an SVO mustang sprinkled in there every now and then for good measure. the only magazine you ever seem to see a TR in anymore is GM high tech performance and then its not that much either.

i want to start a g-body only magazine or maybe 80s-90s performance cars, that way i could include 3rd gen camaros/firebirds also. that would be cool.

This is my absolute favorite white T.

I always look in the reader's rides near the back page and its always a bunch of Firebirds and Camaros. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw a tr.
