just ordered a few basic mods.....have a question.

I ordered a MAF pipe and K & N filter for my TTA.

I noticed on the elbow, in front of the MAF sensor, there is a sensor screwed in.

My parts will be here this weekend and my question is, with the elimination of that plastic elbow, where does this sensor now go? is there a place in the new MAF pipe for it to screw in?

Did you order a cone style K&N filter? If so, most people (including myself) drill a small hole in the neck of the filter and insert the air temperature sensor there. Just ensure that the hole is smaller than the sensor, so it seals well.

yep. the typical 8 inch cone filter. thanks for the advice.
