Killer alt upgrade

(1) rebuilt Prestolite A0017706AA extreme duty alternator. Does over 100 amps at an idle. 145 amp Lt1 alt doesn't even come close to the true power output of this beast. Made for ambulances and busses, so the parts are twice as strong and welded, not soldered together.The last alternator You"ll ever have to put on Your GN. No more low voltage or current problems.(would need to swap out the pulley and modify the upper bracket and run a 1/0 cable to the battery) Over $500 new. $220 shipped in the lower 48. Very minimal. Only will load relative to electrical needs. The 145 amp LT1 alt works fine as a swap with no extra load problems but this is MUCH more efficient at lower RPM's. I have a 240 amp one on a stock 2.8 l Fiero engine and It works perfect. Much better idling at electric fans, fuel pump, spark, windows, etc when You need the power. Better to have and not need than need and not have. Bigger alt means You can run a smaller, lighter battery also. Call for more details. Paul 480-221-9572

I only have the one alt. I CAN'T get anymore.
