It's alive!!!!
I finished re-studding the rear axels to accept the new wheels and also slicks on my Weld Draglites, and hit the streets in the Camaro today for the first time in 2 years and 4 months. Still need to burn off the 2+year old fuel before I can lean on it, but it's running pretty nice considering the fuel has gotta be pretty bad.
After I got through a tank or two of new fuel, I'll rebuild the carb and tune it up....then I'll lean on it some
It will go up for sale tho....and the first $25K takes it....so if you know anyone looking for a first gen...let them know.
It needs body and paint and only a little bit of interior work....has about $25K in parts in it and the roller would go for about $8-10K, so the buyer will be ahead.
Only 5K miles on the build.
