I've seen knock on the shift in 1st to second. But I still see 1-2.x KR on the SM during second gear...once it's in third, no problem at all 0.0 all the way to fourth.
I have the boost at 17psi in third...it only comes up to about 15 or 16 in 1st and 2nd.
I know I can't read much in to the SM O2 numbers (low 800s) becuase I have a small (1/4") crack in the passenger header. It builds boost fine...just ticks.
I've got the fuel psi at 48 (line off).
Are the headers cuasing me to "not have enough injector" with the 30#ers in the car? The timing is still how Eric sent it.
I'm just looking for some open advice and direction...I want to get this lined out before I put the te44/50#ers on.
 
Fuel pressure sounds high, what did eric reccomend? I think he reccomends around 42-45 line off.

If you seeing no knock in the top of third to fourth, then I wouldn't worry, the other knock is probably false since you are putting more load on your motor and the knock goes away, and anyway its only a few deg.

Get your headers fixed... it will make your car harder to tune and cause other problems. After your headers fixed, put the 44/50s on and tune for no knock in the top of third, and you'll be flyin'

yeah...Eric sets the chip up for 43-45. 48psi has always been the no-knock sweet spot for third gear. When it was warmer, I could do 19-20psi in third with that rail pressure and see 0.0 -1.0 KR. Cold air is more dense, so it makes total sense to me to have to turn the boost down in the 40 degree weather I was driving arond in. I think it's the headers, cause I know at WOT the 30# are at 100% duty cycle.

THat's what I hoped...I got out on the interstate and got on it in third many times...0.0 KR. I actually went all the way through third twice...lotta a mph...decided to slow down...LOL.
