I was dissasembling some of my motor to give it s fresh coat of por engine paints when I removed the knock sensor out of the back of the block and was wondering why it isnt located into a water jacket like the chevys are.I would assume it would pick up alot of noise from the tranny torque converter and that area.Just curious why Gm did this.
