Knock sensor

I got my walbro 307 in and adjustable regulator on borrowed an otc 4000e from a friend. I started to do some tunning and found out the knock does not register even when I can hear it. I know it should register way before that. Anyway I belive my knock sensor is bad and was wondering if I can replace it with the 86-87 knock sensor.

I would think it would work , plus you do have the 87 ecm so it should.

Make sure that its bad, take something and tap on the block next to it and have some one check to see if it picks up you tapping on the block.

They all use the same sensor.
