knock?

before i goit crap weather over here i installed my knock gauge i have the fp at 45 and 42 pound injectors and a pump gas 93 chip in it have hot wire kit and walbo 340 pump in it and i only get knock in 3rd gear and im at 18psi the knock goes into the red then i let off real quick i dont no how to get rid of knock

put your location in the upper right hand corner, and in the signature, put your year, make, and model down, along with EVERY mod you have in the car. be descriptive. and if you have any scan tools or not.
What sort of 'pump gas' are you running? and do you have a fuel pressure gauge? what is your boost set to? do you have any vac leaks? you MUST install a scanmaster in your car...

im running 93 i have one of those fp gauges but it like mechanice one and boost is at 18

i also just bought a scan master but got crapy weather so i cant test it out and see what going on ,and i also just replaced the knock sense cuz i had 2 codes come up the for the knock senser and one for the mat sensor but i can find a knew one any were

18 PSI is to high for your pump gas, try running it at 16 and see what happens. I can only run 16 PSI on 93 octane. But hook up your scanmaster first. There are other reasons why you may be getting knock.

Depending on ignition timming, 18psi does sond a little high. What chip?

Do you have a adjutable wate gate? Bring the boost down to 14-15 for now. Tune from there.

Bring boost down till the knock goes away, then work on increasing it.

Dont start high in boost, start low. Like 13 PSI.

You need octane to run boost. The higher the boost the higher the octane. Race gas or alky kit will help with that.

finish your signature bro. it helps, trust us. and, if you have a stock, or close to stock setup, make the arm so where it slides over the wastegate arm with zero resistance. start from there. I bet you the knock will go away at 15. just make sure the scanmaster is hooked up. hows your plugs? fuel filter?

i have to check them i got the car month ago i treade a blown up gto for it im going to do plugs wires and filter over the winter i hate the snow wish it would just just be nice again
