Where is the best place to get KYB shocks for all around my 86 GN. I need shocks for my car and i heard KYBs are really good on these cars...at least for the money.

Thanks

Scott

I bought mine at carparts.com. Came to about $100 shipped. They used to have great coupons.. not sure anymore. If you get them, make sure you get the heavy duty ones and not the ones for regular regals. If I can remember right, the correct ones will have some letters in the part #.

KYB's

Try Performance Suspension Technology (PST) in Montville, NJ. You can get 4 shocks for $109, and you can order them toll free at 1-800-247-2288. I believe they offer the heavy duty ones, too.

Does PST have a website? Also What exhaust system is the best for the GNs I want something that will keep the car a nice sound level but at the same time flow the best.

Thanks again

Scott

Their website is p-s-t.com . I personally chose to go with ATR's stainless steel 3"single shot exhaust system. From what I was told it was the best flowing exhaust period. Now I will say that it is loud at certain rpm ranges and has a drone to it, especially around 30-45mph. I chose stainless b/c I didn't want it rusting out. I think you are going to find that it is all personal preferance and what you can stand as far as money and sound. My advice would be to try and do your research by finding other cars with modded exhaust systems and riding in them before going and spending $400-$800 on something you hate.

I bought my car with fairly new kyb shocks on them. They transmit alot of shock on uneven road surfaces. But on smooth surfaces they are excellent.

I would spend the extra dough and go with the bilsteins, your passengers will thank you.
