I was wondering which would be the best way to go. The LM-1: Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter or the scanmaster 2. I take my car out to the track when ever I get the chance and was wondering which direction I should go? Also which would help me out more in tunning my car? Any info is appreciated.

The LM1 or other logging WB is really the way to go in order to work with your chip vendor to really get your fuel tables dialed in however it won't show you knock unless they've added that feature which I'm not aware of yet but with all the parameters the LM1 can log w/ its aux module you would really know what the fuel is doing and you could add a knock gauge to know when to lift. But it would still be nice to have a scan tool for monitoring BLM's, IAC, coolant temp, SES codes and such at least every now and then.

I used various scan tools (otc 2 models, and a Snap-on) and ended up deciding to get a scanmaster 2.1...money well spent. Just get a wideband also...AEM's rocks btw.
