Look on ebay -i just saw a brand new set in boxes for less than $100. shipped.

I have a couple. One is a few years old so it is not mint, but it has all the mounting tabs. The other is only a few months old, but i broke half the tabs taking it off the wheel (will probably have to glue it to the wheel). You can see pictures here --> Buick Turbo Regal Parts For Sale. The two on the right are the ones (the other is sold).

Good Lord, I just bought a set of 4 brand new in the box shipped to my door for the same amount of money. Let's see, $ 300 for a set of 4 used ones, a person would be better off paying a little more for a set of 4 new in box. Although, by tomorrow or the next day I am sure that will be a good price. Thank God I have 2 spare sets, even though they were pricey. The price of the factory caps increasing will cause the price of the factory rims without caps decrease, but increase with a set of matching caps, maybe? This is definitely not a good trend. Sorry for the interruption of the original thread intention.

$500? for plastic caps.. this is really getting out of hand:rolleyes:

No, for plastic caps and the wheels that they attach to. May not be a bad deal depending upon the condition of wheels & caps.

hey wells trying running down to the dealership and buying these?or how about fork up $4000 for a parts car that probably only 2 on it. these are extremely hard to find for several reasons low production of cars, cars are 20 plus years old.and they fall off.it's not like they were $10 new and i'm trying to rape anybody. they are hard to find and there was 1 on ebay about a week ago that went for about $70 and it was used.so if you can get 4 in 1 shot and not have to look around on ebay for months isn't that worth something. also westside pm'ed me about a month ago looking for these and if they were easy or cheap wouldn't he of had a set by now.i do not make the prices i just price my parts according to what i see other people asking or getting for this stuff.when the nos ones dry up and repos are not out yet and all of a sudden t types are worth $30,000 people will be happy to pay a $1000 for a set of new caps. i also deal with gto parts and 70-81 trans ams you should see how the prices skyrocket when you get get the parts.i usually have those parts sold nowadays before i even own the cars because they are all gone just like these cars are gonna be .and then every rotted out t type will be worth like $10,000 just look at the trends.

Boy, I'm glad to see that you did not take my post as personal and /or offensive. I was merely commenting on the current trend of the caps value in relationship to the rims that they came on, and the fact that I personally would rather buy a nos set compared to a used set when the price is close or the same. If you feel that my post was deragatory towards you, your business, and / or your post, please drop me an E-mail and I will be glad to respond to some of your questions / statements above.
