Although I didn't need this article to prove this point.. I find it interesting where my state fell.

I'm a strong advocate of making the driving test a lot more difficult for this reason.

Recently, in my region the county has started using circles to ease congestions without traffic signals. I find it SO amazing how many people are TOTALLY clueless as to how to enter and exit a simple circe... even with a sign there saying "Yield to traffic in circle" right there! People will go around the circle and STOP at every point of entry to let others in.

You guys are the best at killing everyone else!:p

I took a trip to watertown last night. I was doing 70 on 128 & people were passing me like i was still!

That survey is without a doubt, flawed. Connecticut is ranked 42nd, but it should be 49th. ;)

It didn't surprise me any where Florida fell in the test. There's a large percentage of drivers in the area that can't speak english let alone understand what the sign actually says.

I'LL SECOND THAT!

Since I moved here I've had two fender benders in parking lots (with no note left on my car, of course), a guy lose control on an off ramp and slide into me pushing me into the guardrail, totalled my old GN (I swear it wasn't my fault, but I got the ticket), and just a month ago some assclown in a big old truck clipped my bumper when I had the right of way.

When did I move here you ask? October 2003! All of that happened in less than two years! Before I moved here I had a resounding ZERO accidents.

Sixty two days....

Damn Shane, sorry to hear that. But that's just about par for the Connecticut roadway experience. No accidents in 10 years here, but still, I have a 5 mile drive to work every morning, and at least twice a week I have to LEAN on my horn as if I'm trying to push it through the dashboard because some moron is too busy with their morning routine to be paying attention to the important thing....like DRIVING!

Hmmmm....I should put concealed airhorns in my cars. And not those wussy big rig ones either. Maybe something heisted off of a locomotive. :D

The best defense is a good offense. :D

The worst part about driving around here is the snow. Where I'm from it snows every year, we're used to it, we don't let it slow us down. Here it snows every year, we should be used to it, BUT EVERYONE SLOWS DOWN TO A HALT.

It gives me total road rage. The one thing that kills me is when people that think they know how to drive in the snow get tired of following the pack going 15 mph, so they get into the unplowed lane to go 20mph. ARRRRRRGGGGG.

Hey Shane, sorry to hear about your bad expirience's so far in Connecticut. I was born & raised in NY, I lived in NJ and I now reside in Bridgeport, CT. And I have to tell you, it's not just Connecticut. It seems that there is this TRI-State triangle, they call it the TRI-State Area. And inside that triangle is were some of the worst drivers I've ever seen live! So don't feel so bad, I'm sure there are a lot of other people in the triangle with your delima. I know, I see these dumba$$es everyday. Good luck, Nelson aka GNflyby. :)

P.S. I definately agree with you, the snow here is murder!

Oh, and don't get me started on the women, what the f**k is going on with the women today?? They drive worst then the men, it seems that in the last decade or so the women have gotten some sort of PMS Road Rage, now they will drive right up your a$$ and sit on your bumper, I move over thinking, I'm gonna give this guy the finger, and to my amazement, it's a chick?! I don't know fellas, if they're like this now, what’s it going to be like in the next decade or so?! I said my peice, I'm done, Nelson aka GNflyby.

How did I guess that Mass-holes would have the lowest score (I know RI was lower, but they are mass. jr.) I can't tell you how many stupid massholes drive through Ct in the left lane doing 50mph. You flash your light asking them to move, and they flip you the bird. I think they have gone through too many of those rotaries and it makes them dizzy.;)
